Apple Patent Describes How its iPhone’s could be Used for Health Measurements

An Apple patent allowed today depicts how the forward-looking camera, light sensor, and proximity sensor found in existing iPhones could be utilized for beneficial purposes, for example, health measurements.

The electronic gadget utilizes one or numerous cameras in tandem with the proximity sensor to radiate light into a body part of a user touching a surface of the electronic gadget and one or multiple cameras, the ambient light sensor, and the proximity sensor to receive some portion of the transmitted light reflected by the body part of the user. The electronic gadget measures the health information of the user based upon sensor data regarding the received light.
