Oppo R9s, the successor of R9 plus to be launched on October 19

Even when Oppo R9s is not unveiled, Oppo is running ads whose pictures suggests that the smartphone fits in a slightly modified design. Also, as we have seen in almost all Oppo’s devices they try to improve the camera features. This time to the camera features Sony’s IMX398 sensor.

Leaks tells Oppo R9s sensor will ship in 16MP dual-pixel camera on front and f/1.7 aperture at rear. Some of the specs includes that the smartphone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 Octa-core Processor. The device sports a 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and powered by 3010 mAh battery. Oppo R9s also supports for Oppo’s super AMOLED display and VOOC fast charging technology. The smart charging claims to charge as fast as 0–45% in 5 minutes.

Right now it can’t be determined whether R9s plus will be unveiled on the same date or later.
